Last night, or should I say early this morning, I was outside with my 150mm Mak on the GEM. It was crisp and clear, or so it seemed. There was a lot of humidity moving from North to South, making the planet look like a shimmering blob of Jello. I shot 10 captures using different magnifications (Barlows) and settings. I did the last capture as a 'ho-hum' casual thing, no barlow, less frames. Wouldn't you know it, that was the one and only that actually turned out well. Go figure!!! Well, it was probably because of the unsteady atmosphere that the lower magnification capture turned out so well as opposed to the higher mag ones. This is like visual, when on an unsteady night you have to use a lower magnification eyepiece.

Anyway, here it is. Hope you like it
