Pros: Cons: Comments:I've always had good results from Blue Fireball adapter. This one is no exception. Low profile, nicely machined, works as it should. The only problem was that the wrong item was in the box, Agena sent me a replacement right away as well as a return shipping label, even though it wasn't their fault. So I feel that Agena gets the 5 stars from this review.

Jan 16, 2017Blue Fireball Gender Changer: T / T2 Male-Male Thread Adapter # G-TM
Pros: Cons: Comments:This is an very good product. It allowed me to mount my CCD camera to the filter wheel using a threaded connection rather than a v groove and long screws.

Mar 27, 2015Low-profile T2 Gender Change
Pros:Compact,Easy to Use,Lightweight,Low-profile,Accurate,Strong Construction
Cons: Comments:I needed an adapter to join my various astronomy cameras with T2 female threads to my guidescope with a T2 female thread. Enter the Blue Fireball gender changer. It works exactly, is extremely low-profile and lightweight, and is perfectly strong.

Nov 29, 2013A good price on a hard to find product

Oct 2, 2013Simple yet Effective!
Pros:Accurate,Lightweight,Compact,Strong Construction
Cons:Difficult to Use,Bit Expensive
Comments:The Perfect Companion to Agena Manual Filter Wheel and Blue Fireball Eyepiece Holder (1.25") with T / T2 Female Thread (T2 Visual Back) # E-10.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
It has a bit of tiny edge and once you screw it in you do not want to unscrew it especially if you make it tight. So I purchased three of this adapters to avoid the hassle. But it's a worth it. It's a compromise between convenience and benefit of the product versus buying more than one adapter unit. This review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
Aug 26, 2013Light, Strong and Accurate Adapter
Pros:Strong Construction,Accurate,Lightweight
Cons: Comments:I purchased the "Agena 1.25" 5-Position Manual Filter Wheel" and needed to replace the Eyepiece holder with a holder that has a Compression Ring, I used the "Blue Fireball Gender Changer: T / T2 Male-Male Thread Adapter # G-TM" in combination with "Blue Fireball Eyepiece Holder (1.25") with T / T2 Female Thread (T2 Visual Back) # E-10" and it worked wonderfully.

Feb 8, 2013Good low profile adapter
Pros:Compact,Lightweight
Cons: Comments:I required an adapter between my Xagyl filter wheel and camera. The filter wheel is very low profile so the threads needed to be short as to not impede the filter wheel rotation. This adapter worked perfectly, and barely adds any additional back focus to my imaging train.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
My only complaint is that it s so low profile that it can be hard to unscrew. This review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
