Manufacturer Description

High quality, cast-aluminum mounting rings that can be used for mounting telescope tubes on various mounts or on guidescope rails. All rings are hinged, felt-lined and have clamp-style rings for easy mounting or repositioning of the optical tube. The large clamp knob permits easy handling in all conditions, with or without gloves. The base of the rings is threaded for 6mm metric screws (not included but available at most hardware stores). Gunmetal grey finish. Each ring weighs Xoz/Yg (Coming soon). Price shown is for a set of 2 rings.

      They are simple things and do their job as expected. A couple small criticisms, the plastic knobs just make you feel like you’re interacting with plastic. They work just fine, just look and feel cheap. The other, the holes go clear through. so be careful when you’re bolting to them that you’ve checked with the depth or you may dent your OTA. You shouldn’t let this put you off from buying them though, they are a great set of rings
