From the moment we got it and looked out the window It was obvious how it would clear the haze and light pollution. It would be nice if they included a spectral graph. It does appear to be doing all the right frequencies.

Very good filter
This filter works as announced. It doesn't eliminate 100% of violet, but only show it on extremely bright object like Vega star, but for this is not a problem. I can make some good astrophoto with a acromatic scope.

Bought this to use as energy rejection filter for a Quark Solar Filter when used in my 120ED. Nice quality and very good value. I do not have a means of testing the cutoff, but it seems to have worked fine for this application.

An excellent sharpener, used properly
Many say this doesn't clear up chromatics totally with an 80mm/F5 scope. You do need a more severe filter in that case, but this is a great way to gave super-sharpness from an 80mm/F8. I could see no color shift in a medium long refractor.
