    The waxing crescent moon & Mars on Tuesday night! Mars is the ruddy-looking star to the far upper right of the moon. The little star just above the moon is Zeta Tauri. Check out that Earthshine!

    Thanks, Mak. I like being able to capture images without stacking, lol. I try to get as close as possible to the actual hue of the sky in these wide fields, while balancing the brightness of other objects in the image. I like imaging Earthshine when possible.

    Hi Reggie,

    The earth shine looks great in your image. Even though I stack many of my images, I also like doing single frames. There have been several times when I have taken a series of images to stack and ended up using a single one instead.

    Thanks, Ed. After all the imaging work I did on Mars last summer/fall, I'm taking a break from stacking right now, lol.
