      4.0 Good quality, competitively priced

      Pros:

      Accurate,Easy to Use,Strong Construction

      Cons:

      Accurate,Easy to Use,Strong Construction

      Comments:

I bought the originally manufactured piece for Canon mount a couple years ago and it was good though overpriced for what it is. I needed in Nikon and given that same high price, hesitated until I found the Agena Blue Fireball product. This was about $20 cheaper and still expensive for what it is but represents about 30% cheaper price and so a no brainer. Quality is great, perfectly functional, not much more to say. Definitely recommended on price alone. 4 stars, not 5 only because it has a bit of rotational play (so does the other manufacturer's). But really it's almost 5 star.

      5.0 Excellent

      Pros:

      Lightweight,Compact,Easy to Use

      Cons:

      NO CONS

      Comments:

This prime focus adapter has made my observing nights a lot more easy. When you go outdoors or your backyard the less stuff you carry the best and this adapter has replaced many adapters I used to carry around all the time when observing it fits in any 2" diagonal or barlow and you can use your 2" filters directly on the adapter so your camera will fit in your telescope like any other eyepiece. Don't forget to remove any dust in the adapter before using it and to point down your camera when installing or removing the adapter or any filter if it does not causes you trouble you may leave a UV filter on the adapter all the time that way your camera is going to be protected against dust or dew when is not mounted on the telescope

5.0 Very good adapter! Ultra low weight

      Pros:

      Strong Construction,Lightweight

      Cons:

      Comments:

      Very good adapter 5 stars,

(but personnally) I dislike the safety groove that result lock ring of the focuser go inside and make a gap between focuser and adapter, not right angle... hard to optain no gap
You can unscrew 3 locking screw and put an 2 inch extention on it, but male thread fall in the 2inch hole and make the thing unsafe

      5.0 Typical Blue Fireball Quality

      Pros:

      Strong Construction,Easy to Use,Accurate

      Cons:

      Comments:

Tpyical Blue Fireball quality construction. Machining appears to be very precise and clean. Best for prime focus of larger targets. Con: the wide image size can exceed the size of the sensor chip of APC sized cameras in some applications.

5.0 Cost effective, well made product

      Pros:

      Easy to Use,Lightweight,Strong Construction,Compact

      Cons:

      Extends focusing distance

      Comments:

Cheapest way to get into astrophotography by far. While it is true that producing high quality astrophotography demands expensive photo gear, a relatively expensive tube and a rock solid mount, not everyone is trying to outdo Hubble. For an amateur sticking one of these adapters onto an inexpensive Celestron 102GT or equivalent refractor and using almost any DSLR will yield surprisingly nice images of the moon, the gas giant planets, and even nice wide field shots if you crop the horrible aberration off the edges (scopes fault, not the tube). The simplicity of this setup, along with a little patience and experimentation is what will make you learn the basics that will let you decide if you should spend more to increase your quality and range.

4.0 Connects perfectly to the Rebel t2i.

      Pros:

      Compact,Accurate,Lightweight,Strong Construction

      Cons:

      Difficult To Focus,Needs 2

      Comments:

This is a robust and sturdy adapter. It fits the camera perfectly well. It acts like a lens, so in order to detach it, you need to press the release button which is pretty good compared to other cheap t-rings from other manufactures.
I couldn't reach focus in the beginning because there wasn't enough out-focus. But the problem was solved with a 2" barrel extender. Any barrel extender will do the trick.
Because telescopes act differently, and with the above out-focus problem in mind, I think not enough in-focus, would result in using a barlow in front of this adapter.
I gave it 4 stars because of the out-focus problem.

      5.0 2" Prime Focus Adapter

      Pros:

Less vignetting; Flexibility of using t-ring with a 2" SCT barrel; threaded for filters

      Cons:

      None

      Comments:

This is the first T Adapter I've used, but I'm quite impressed. It's threaded for 2" filters, and it holds my Canon XSi securely.

It also seems to show less vignetting than some others (based on photographs taken by others with the same telescope and camera as mine).

      The construction is top notch.

I also found it interesting that the T ring portion can be removed, and mated up with 2" SCT diagonal barrel as well. This method of attaching to the telescope is a bit more secure than depending on thumbscrew in a focuser.

5.0 2 Inch Prime Focus Adapter

      Pros:

Well built; a great product at a great price.

      Cons:

      Nothing so far..

      Comments:

Greetings,I just wanted to write and exclaim my profound joy in using this 2 inch prime focus adapter. I had read for some time that a true 2 inch adapter is the best thing to use for astrophotography. I held out waiting to hear more. There are similar products on the market at higher prices. The adapter is truly a work of art and worth every penny. Of course when I first got the adapter it was cloudy for a few days and then a bright full moon. So after having it for some time now and the chance to use it, it truly does make a difference in the image field. I am using this adapter on a Canon 300D attached to a Celestron C8-NGT housed within an Explora Dome observatory. I highly recommend this adapter. So far I have found no CONS for this product.
