Very small, apochromatic barlow and affordable, excellent customer service.

My barlow does not have screw threads for filters.

This is the very best barlow I've ever owned. It will hold its own against the best of the Televue line as I use Televue as a base line for all purchases. Its only 2-3/4 inch long/short and what a performer it is! The stats are: Magnification 2X, barrel size 1.25", 3 element apochromatic barlow, locking thumbscrew (single), fully multi-coated with a full 27mm clear aperture. I've tried other barlows, also from Orion, but this "little guy" is the one I've used for the past four years. It comes from Orion boxed with both caps. At least it did in 2003 when I bought it. As I use a binoviewer with my LX-90 the extra weight of this barlow does not interfere with my go-to. If you try it you'll keep it. Besides, with Orion's customer service you can return it within 30 days for a full refund. Cost is around $65.00 plus shipping, unless you can try for free shipping.........I had to pay for shipping.
