Beautiful, high-magnification images
Pros: Cons: Comments:The view presented by this thing is simply fantastic. Super crisp, edge-to-edge. Zero color problems. The 50 deg AFOV is pretty tight, so you are going to need to be pretty locked on to your target before switching to this eyepiece.

Pros: Cons: Comments:The eyepiece has some very nice features. The twist-up eyecup is well designed and implemented. The smooth eyepiece barrel also makes it easy to insert and remove from focusers and adapters. The image quality is first-rate, but the AFOV is a little tight. Overall, an excellent eyepiece. Definitely recommended.

Pros: Cons: Comments:The Vixen 4mm SLV eyepiece is excellent in terms of performance and comfort in use. Images are sharp and color free, light scatter is absent and the 50° field is plenty for lunar or planetary observation. Contrast is high and color fidelity very good. The eye relief is comfortable and eye position not super critical. It is as good or better than any short focal length eyepiece I've used.

Pros: Cons: Comments:I added this 4mm SLV to my collection to maximize magnifications using f/5 scopes. Like other SLV's that I own, this eyepiece offers long eye relief and has excellent fit and finish. I have used it recently to view double stars with a 80mm f/5 refractor and 203mm f/6 dob. Images were bright and sharp. The SLV line is worth every penny, particularly now on sale. This eyepiece does not disappoint.
