    It's about this time that M104 Sombrero galaxy comes into convenient view during very late evening, and so the data collection begins! This is about hour and half of 30 second images taken with 10" f5 Newtonian and zwo asi294mc pro, supported on an EQ-6r pro mount. IR Cut filter used. Hope to add a few hours worth over the next few weeks.

    Thank you. Each year I try to better than the year before. I noticed your thirsty mosquito observatory. During the capture of M104, I was harassed by them for the first time this year.

    We have lots of swamps and standing water around here LOL
    So I thought that would be a good name for it.

    I just need a logo now, maybe one drinking a beer ;)

    I'm in Valdese, west of Hickory. About an hour from you. No swamps, but mosquitos just the same.
