I got first light last night with a DOB mount conversion. WiFi, GoTo, tablet control with SkySafari, whats not to like. Brought a smile to my face. :) It's so nice when things come together.

Thanks! I finished the final small touches. Added a compass aligned to true north and a bubble level to aid ease of setup even when no stars are visible. The top plate is now painted (mount was always attached). I also engraved a plaque to finish the project off.

I think I will take a break for a while and just enjoy the summer "planet parade" plus my favorite multiple star, and Messier, targets. :)
