Here are a couple of images from several years ago. I really like images that combine landscapes with the night sky. Some are actual photos, while others are fantasy images I create.

The first one is a fantasy image I titled BLOOD MOON DAWN. It's a morning twilight picture that included two planets (I forgot which ones, probably Venus and Jupiter) to which I layered the image of an eclipse moon.

The second one is an actual photo I took of a farmhouse behind where I used to work. It was a lightly foggy morning twilight which includes the moon.

Here is another one I wanted to add. This is a composition of images from the 2019 lunar eclipse.

    Hi Reggie,

I'm glad you liked 'Blood Moon Dawn'. When I look at that picture it seems like a picture taken on another planet, something out of Star Wars or Star Trek.

I have been busy in my back yard learning imaging deep space from a Bortle 9 White Zone, and figuring out solutions to all the challenges I face. I have made a lot of progress, and, as you can imagine, spending many hours imaging and processing only to end up trashing hundreds of photos. I did get the Horsehead and Flame nebulas, and, hideous as the image was, it was a step in the right direction.
