    There have been lots of conjunctions in the morning sky lately! If you missed Jupiter and Venus this morning (April 30) you have another chance Sunday morning (May 1) to see them really close. In this prime focus shot (using my 127mm Mak-Cass) you can see the some of the moons of Jupiter (Ganymede, Io and Callisto) and the waxing gibbous phase of Venus.

    Visually, they looked a bit like ominous eyes slowly rising above the horizon. The Universe is watching us!:eek::eek:

    Great pictures Reggie. They really do look like ominous eyes!

    Reggie, very nice pictures. I especially like the ones that include the trees. The first one that shows the moons of Jupiter is nice, too.

    I did get to see it, Reggie. I was up early that morning, getting ready to attend a tournament and looked up at the sky. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to get a camera.

    Mars is expected to put on a fine show late fall into early winter!
