    Finally got a good image of Mars for this apparition:

    LOCATION:
    Miami, Florida 25.61N 80.42W (Bortle 9 White Zone)
    Date - 2023 01-09
    Time - 9:45pm EST
    Moon - Starting to rise, away from planet
    Sky Conditions - Almost as good as it gets here

    EQUIPMENT:
    Telescope/Lens - 6" Mak
    Baader prism diagonal
    Imaging Camera - ASI290MC
    Mount - Celestron CG-4 with 9V RA motor drive
    Filters - Baader Neodymium
    Accessories - Light Shield

    PROCESSING:
    AutoStakkert 2, GIMP, Photo Studio

    NOTES:
    Conditions have been consistently worse compared to past years
    Image made from best of four captures
    Captures taken near zenith
    Mars at approximately 13.5" apparent diameter
