Here is my video of the double shadow transits of Io and Europa in color with a little processing. More musical atmosphere with "La Langue des Sentiments". Is it easier to see the shadows in this color image?

    Kaleidoscopic skies!

I left my comments over in the Dark Lord's Lounge (in deference to Mak).

    Still hypnotised......

Thanks, Z! I'm just having fun with it. I'm not going for Hubble, just capturing a few photons here and there, lol.

I'm hoping to dip my toe one day soon. I just picked up a GSO 2" dual sp. focuser from Scopestuff since Agena has been out of stock, and an 8x50 RACI from Agena. These will go on my current scope, as well as a wide field 120ST I hope to get shortly. Once I get a laptop and one of Orion's little cameras, I'll join you in having photo-fun. :)

Sounds like a bet! I think you'll like imaging, but beware- it can get expensive, but it doesn't have to be. I like to keep it simple. When you're ready to take the plunge, let me know if I can help:D
