I found this image I took of M41 (the Little Beehive) from 2019. It's a beautiful open star cluster just southwest of Canis Major. I simply used a 300x zoom attached to my old Nikon D-50 piggybacking on my 127mm Mak. And while we're in Canis Major, here is an image I took a few years ago of a "Winter Albireo", 145G Canis Majoris: The two are not physically related and only appear to be a binary from our perspective. The brighter of the pair (gold) is a whopping 6300 lt. yrs away and the blue companion is a "scant" 260 lt. yrs. Stunning!
