Has it been a year already? Well, here it is, my annual Orion Nebula (M42) image, taken at prime focus through my 127mm Mak using my Nikon D3200, a single 15s exposure at ISO 3200:

    ASTRONOMY - ORION NEBULA (ISO 3200 15s) 1-15-23 SM.jpg

It rivals my 2020 shot as my overall best, but the 2020 shot still has the edge to me:

    What do you think, ACers?

It's very cool, you have some red color in it !! fantastic. To me a visual observer, the amount of details in impressive of course.

Very nice 2023 image. I agree about the 2020 photo. Although the 2020 image isn't quite as bright as the 2023, the texture, contrast and detail stand out better. Both are very nice.
