There is a large range of scopes with the SLT mount.
Do they all use the same mount or are there variations?
For example the 60SLT refractor vs the 127 SLT Mak
    thanks

There are 3 versions of the SLT style of mount.
They all have the same mount capacity and rather flimsy tripod.

In each specific series (GT or SLT) the mounts will all be the same regardless of telescope.

I have had the GT for the 90 and 100. The motorized arm is the same, however, the legs are pathetic for the 90. The 100 at least has steel legs. Neither have on off switches.

My SLT has an off on switch and it appears a bigger fork arm
My SE is by far the most serious of the three

The on/ off switch and Aux port on the main differences between the SLT and GT mounts.
Both have the flimsy and short stainless tubing/ plastic tripod unfortunately.
They work much better when placed on a sturdier tripod.

I put my SLT on a pier and EQ-3 aluminium tripod and it is much more stable and usable now.
The SE mounts are a different series for Mak/ SC and have a slightly higher payload as well.

For many of my scopes the SLT mount is more preferable because of the light payload. The legs on the GT are like spider legs.
I do like the SE mount and will use it when I get my Starsense Popular Science DX 5" SCT

Besides the 102 mm f/6.5 pictured above I also use the SLT with my Stellarvue 80 mm.
The SLT is a good mount for smaller tubes if you want a lightweight goto mount.
I have also made a adapter for mine so that I can mount the SLT on a CG-5 tripod which has the 2" steel legs.
