Just ordered the ZWO ASI294MC-PRO astronomy camera from AgenaAstro. Looking forward to using it, and even a little forward to the learning curve!

I'm looking forward to your experiences and thoughts about this camera, and your images. I looked up the camera specs on the Agena website and really like what I read.

Received camera yesterday. Downloaded all drivers and got it running in SharpCap. Cooled it down to 10 degrees Farhenheit, but it was daytime and the temp in observatory low nineties. 90 degree cooldown not bad! Look forward to first clear night.

Wow, at first I thought I read that wrong. That is impressive that the cooler works so well.

    Also, Agena is the BEST!!!

I've played around with Peltier Chips and there was always dew problems when it was humid. Zwo has no dew at all, not even an issue to think about.

That's great to know. With the ridiculously high humidity down here the dew is always a concern. I have wanted a camera with a larger chip than my ASI290, and this one seems like it's probably it.
