Present time I am working with a 12" Meade LX 850 ACF F/8 scope on the LX850 StarLock mount, utilize Starry Night Pro 7 software, learning the Mallincam Universe camera. I also use the Skyris 618C camera and the Orion G3 Starshoot camera. Working from limited view area, light polluted backyard site of 0 to 180 degree view North to South at a min. 32 degrees altitude to see over the houses. I have been using the setup for about two weeks now.

Greetings, Killercloud, and welcome to a brave, new forum!

MallinCams are great video-cams, both their planetary and DSO builds. I'm sure you'll love yours, once you undergo the learning-curve.

I'll see you about, and look forward to your imaging!

    Clear & dark skies-

    Dave

Welcome Killercloud... I am also a big Mallincam fan. I've been using an MC Extreme for several years. It definitely gives you access to things you could never hope to see visually. I used the MCX from downtown Ottawa (pop 1 million) and easily pulled in mag 16 quasars with a 6" scope. Quite amazing.
