This morning I read an article about a meteorite impact on the lunar surface during the eclipse at the beginning of totality. Do a Google search for 'meteor strike during 2019 lunar eclipse' and a bunch of articles, images and videos come up. It's an interesting story.

I looked at my lunar eclipse images and may have caught the impact. I have to look better and determine if I truly did catch this, by dumb luck. Wow, wouldn't that be great! If I did catch it I'll post it in the imaging forum.

Has anyone calculated how big of an impact it was and what it would have been like if it had hit the earth?
