    This image was taken a few nights before opposition during an opportune clear night and Jupiter was bold and bright. I used my Orion 180mm Mak and the Orion Starshoot Solar System Camera (it's a neat little cam). Got some good cloud detail and color:

    Nice pictures Reggie. Unfortunately, due to inclement weather, I'll only be able to see the opposition in Celestia lol.

    Nice shots! Here is one of my Jupiter shots captured on the night of the 11th. Sky-Watcher 150ED/Svbony SV105

    Seeing about 6/10. I'm looking forward to a better night with better results. Come on Mars!

    The weather might be better for me for the Saturn opposition.
