Wow, it's been four months since I last posted an image. Weather has been not so good most of the time, and the scant few good nights seem to have had me occupied with something. What was different tonight was a beautiful 3.70 day old moon in a decent sky and I was able to take the opportunity to do a quick and dirty imaging of La Luna.

I simply set up my DSLR with 250mm lens on the photo tripod, pointed and focused, and pushed the intervalometer button to snap a few frames in rapid succession. Most of the captures were sub standard, but I did manage to get one good frame out of 29. A little bit of sharpening and brightening in GIMP and, voila!

Very cool, I like when the moon looks like that. Good result with the 250mm!
