OK, after this I'm going to slow the bombardment down. Here are a couple of decent moon shots. The main thing I like about them is the sharp detail I was able to get. The color could be touched up, or converted to B&W. These were taken with my 127mm Mak, the ZWO cam, and I was using the 2x Ultrascopic Barlow. I tried stacking two barlows but the magnification was too much for the 127mm.

Great image, Ed. Very crisp, indeed. The Mak is wonderful with lunar and planetary detail. Glad to have a fellow image poster here, lol. I was getting lonely in this forum, haha.

Thanks, Reggie. I'm glad I found this forum to post my images.

I believe the tone in the moon shots, as well as the Jupiter shot, is the light pollution that my equipment is picking up. It's really bad.

Here are the same pics converted to 8-bit grey scale.

For some reason my desktop computer shows the first images with a gold tone, somewhat like a sepia tone. My laptop shows the same pics in B&W, like the second set I posted.

I dunno Ed, I think the 1st set gets my vote (looks more like the green cheese we all know is on the moon!) :) Great detail!
