It is that wonderful time of year here where as the sun sets, the ground fog starts to appear.
When people say it is clear out that just means the fog has thinned out so you can see 100 metres.

Oh well, gives me time to do baking for the holidays I guess.

Butter cookies, shortbread and raspberry linzer torte so far.
If the wind/ rain/ snow continue I will have all of the holiday baking done by Monday/ Tuesday!

Non stop snow the last few days. Currently there is over 30 cm on the ground and still forecast for more snow tomorrow.
The helicopter did not come out of the hanger today so we will see what happens tomorrow.

Yesterday was the first day with sunshine for almost 2 weeks.
Still about 20 cm of hard pack snow on the ground and there has been enough snow that the local ski hills have opened 2 weeks early.
The crazy half actually closed shop in the afternoon and skied for a few hours.
I will do the same on Thursday if the skies go back to cloud.
