    I'm in Muscat,Oman now.Muscat is about 1 degree north of the tropic of cancer.pretty sure canopus will be visible.found a dry wadi,stream,during my daylight wandering so hopefully it'll be good for the least light polluted stargazing here abouts?see the half moon from my hotel window.I only hope that the flies have retired for the night!
