The upcoming lunar eclipse is a bit over a week away, and I have been taking test shots at different phases to get a feel for the camera settings. This image is a single test frame of several I took tonight, 11 January 2019. All I did is sharpen it a bit, adjust contrast slightly and crop. Nothing special, just a pretty picture of the moon.

Here is a link to a site with time and date info about the upcoming eclipse: LINK

    Nice, sharp. Good contrast!

Hope it all falls into place for you.

Good luck Ed, my forecast is still nothing but clouds so I will be looking at images again apparently.

Nice shot, Ed. I plan to be out there as well on eclipse night. Hope to get some good copper moon shots :)
