    hi everyone, I purchased lx90 12 inch Meade. Telescope but when I'm trying to look on the moon I see just yellow glow bright nothing that looks like the moon...
    I tried to zoom out but nothing the same picture.. I also tired filters and switch eyepiece... What should I do more? One more question how I can zoom out to see a small picture of the moon? Like here:

    My guess is that you are not in focus. Large SCT's have large mirrors. Focus is obtained by actually moving the mirror with the focus knob. Try turning it all the way in both directions. After zooming with a zoom eyepiece you often have to refocus the telescope.
