    Hi Guys,

We just launch a new solar filter compatibility lookup tool for telescopes and binoculars. If you guys are interested in finding out which filter will work for you telescope should check it out. We decided to get this up before the upcoming Transit of Mercury on May 9th to help our members find the correct solar filter. We currently have compatibility for Baader AstroSolar, Agena Solar Filters, and Orion.

If you guys have suggestions or feedback all is welcome also if your telescope is not in the database please if you can send me a PM with the measurements and we can get that updated in the database.

Additionally there is a Telescope Dewshield measurement database that is still a work in progress but you can check it out in the link below.

Took a look. Nice tool but it seems you don't have anything for my ETX 80, only the 90.

If you post your inside and outside dewshield diameter measurements, preferably in millimeters, we can get the correct filters added to the database. This is only what we have been able to compile thus far. If someones telescope is missing they can post them here or contact Agena directly with the measurements and we can add it to the database.
