With a 70-degree apparent field of view, the weatherproof XW features six to eight elements and high-index Lanthanum glass. With proprietary Pentax super multicoatings (SMC) and blackened edges, these eyepieces have minimal scatter and superb contrast.

They also have precisely adjustable eyecups and a generous 20mm eye relieffor a comfortable viewing position, even for those who need to wear eyeglasses while observing to correct for astigmatism. Available in focal lengths from 3.5mm to 20mm.

Along with the XW series, we also have the affordable Pentax XF series in stock. Available in focal lengths of 8.5mm, 12mm, and a 6.5-19.5mm zoom, these eyepieces feature high-refraction, low-dispersion Lanthanum SMC-coated glass elements to provide high-resolution images with minimal aberrations.
