Those are some excellent images. Love your image of Canis Major as well, lol. Did you use a UHC filter on that one?:p

A bit off subject, I really like the picture of your 'Canis Majoris'. It brought back a lot of good memories.

My wife and I had a black Lab rescue for 13+ years, the one that used to be my avatar. She was a special dog, incredibly intelligent, and very sweet. She passed away a couple of months ago from old age and my wife and I have been heart broken. We miss Daisy every day.

The cat in my avatar is a rescue we got as a little kitten named Egypt, now about 4yr old. He's a big boy at 17+ pounds, with a lot of Bengal mixed in. Although cats are not like dogs, this one has a lot of dog-like traits, and is very sweet and lovable.

    Sorry for going off subject.

I think the thread went off topic at the image of Canis Major :)

I was wondering why your avatar changed Ed, very sorry to hear that.
    A lovely cat though.

As promised here is a image of Mars at sunset

Sorry about Daisy, Ed. Sounds like she had a good long life with you and your wife. Egypt looks just like the Bengal he's got in him! A baby tiger you got there, lol.

Thank you all. I have never known what it's like not to have a dog in the house. For almost 40 years that my wife and I have been together we have always had 2 or 3 dogs, mostly big dogs. Thankfully we have Egypt and Luna, another rescue cat.

Gabby, thanks for sharing the picture of your Bengal, Mars.
