    For the past few days Spaceweather.com has been showing interesting solar activity. I set up my DSLR on the photo tripod and took a few JPEG images. This is the best one that I massaged in GIMP, Photo Studio, and Microsoft Paint 3D. Not as impressive as an image through a Ha solar scope, but nowhere near as costly, either.

    It was worth the time with so many sun spots available.

    This gives me the idea, I might just look at the sun myself today!
