Weather 4 us is saying that Tuesday night might be good for observing. The Alpha Persei Association is on my target list along with that comet that has me frazzled and Kemble's Cascade.
Can't wait to see the goose!

Could it be labeled as A or The Christmas Goose?
Makes me think of A Christmas Carol.

I went out tonight with my 10x50 binos and beach chair to observe the comet and The Alpha Persei Association was also on my list. I got a very good view of it and I could see the goose :D

The Alpha Persei Cluster is a beautiful sight in binoculars. However, the goose eludes me. Hmmm..... This one may be my next "victim". It may be a tough one as it is located in a very brightly lit part of the sky for me. I love a good challenge.

I'm looking forward to seeing it.
Maybe I could use paint on my computer to connect the dots to revile the goose. Maybe we could start a Connect the Dots thread to show others asterisms. It could start an active pursuit of them.
