The waxing crescent moon & Mars on Tuesday night! Mars is the ruddy-looking star to the far upper right of the moon. The little star just above the moon is Zeta Tauri. Check out that Earthshine!

Another brilliantly framed shot Reggie. I'm impressed.

Thanks, Mak. I like being able to capture images without stacking, lol. I try to get as close as possible to the actual hue of the sky in these wide fields, while balancing the brightness of other objects in the image. I like imaging Earthshine when possible.

    Hi Reggie,

The earth shine looks great in your image. Even though I stack many of my images, I also like doing single frames. There have been several times when I have taken a series of images to stack and ended up using a single one instead.

Thanks, Ed. After all the imaging work I did on Mars last summer/fall, I'm taking a break from stacking right now, lol.
