    just finished my roll off roof observatory, and here is first pics. M81 and M82, but only 24 minutes worth of exposures. Using D5500 DSLR set at ISO800, all 30 second images. 6" f5 Orion Newtonian on a newly acquired CG-4 xl mount. Mount only has tracking motor , no goto. Did exceptionally well! m81 m82 16bit edit 1.jpg

    Thank you. The officially unofficial name is High Peak Observatory. I have facebook page AND website, highpeakobservatory.com. also a clearsky chart for NC listed as highpeak observatory.
