Another musing of mine is to follow various astronomy blogs and email publications around the net and I was curious what or whom others are following.

Here are a few of the publications I follow or keep tabs on.

http://photographingspace.com/ - New Astrophotography site founded by Cory Schmitz and Tanja Schmitz
    http://www.iovene.com/ - Developer of AstroBin
http://jaysastronomyobservingblog.blogspot.com/ - Recently caught my eye for an Agena eyepiece review he posted
    https://www.reddit.com/r/telescopes/ and https://www.reddit.com/r/astronomy - Reddit Astronomy Community
http://cosmicpursuits.com/ - Of course I receive regular updates from our very own @bventrudo

And of course I checkout cloudynights from time to time and I am signed up to receive most vendor email announcements. What are some of your favorite gotos for keeping up to date?

Two of my favorites, not mentioned here, are:

Uncle Rod (Mollise's) AstroBlog: This is a great place to learn about amateur astronomy and get a little inspiration.

Brian Koberlein's website is a great place to get an understanding of cutting edge astrophysics and related topics:

I don't follow any particular blogs but I spend a lot of time on CN.

http://astrovideoforum.proboards.com/- an active video astronomy forum
https://www.astronomytechnologytoday.com/ - an emagazine specializing in astro equipment reviews, very reasonable pricing
http://www.karmalimbo.com/aro/ - Jim Thompsons site is full of great info, very detailed reviews on filters and focal reducers
http://theastroimagingchannel.com/taic/home - a group of seasoned imagers that share info on equipment, software, techniques, and observatories

I also find Uncle Rod's blog and Brian's Cosmic Pursuits to both be informative and entertaining.

Lots of great links to follow up on, thanks all.

I second, third etc Cosmic Pursuits ( thanks Brian), a wonderful site that, aside from forums, has been my regular read thus far.

ps I like Rod Mollises' site too.

Usually I also trawl through reviews etc on places like iceinspace, the Aussie outfit.
