Manufacturer Description
Multipurpose flashlight with dual red LEDs and dual white LEDs, for night vision projecting red light or regular white light, both easily controlled by a switch. A convenient control wheel allows you to adjust the brightness setting for just the right amount of illumination you need. The casing is constructed with a durable plastic and includes a neck strap. Includes a standard 9 volt alkaline battery, which under normal usage will run for many hours. The total weight with the battery is only 4oz. Slightly tapered design from front to back, but maximum dimensions are approximately 5"x1.5"x1.5". Same product as sold under other brand names for a lot more, although our current stock does not have any brand name imprinted on it.

Pros:Bright,Lightweight,Adjustable Beam,Durable
Cons:Could Use A Diffuser,Tough To Swap Battery,Not Waterproof
Comments:Great little flashlight. Twin LEDs, switchable from red to white with adjustable brightness. A single 9-volt battery lasts a long time. Two drawbacks: A jeweler's screwdriver is needed to open the housing to replace the battery and the LEDs are un-diffused causing "hot-spots." A piece of white paper or translucent plastic over the lens fixes this easily.

Pros:Adjustable Beam,Durable,Long battery life
Cons: Comments:This is a very versatile flashlight. Use the red light during the observing session and then with a simple push of the switch, change to white light for clean up after the session. I find the variable light levels to be very usable - low enough not to ruin night vision to high enough to see things really well when necessary.
