The Baader T2-06A is a new, improved, heavy duty version of their popular T2-06 adapter (still available), and is suited for much heavier accessories.
The T-2 Quick Changer incorporates machined internal dovetail lips, and a large knurled thumbscrew for securely clamping the T-2 Change Rings (#T2-07, sold separately). The Quick Changer is provided with an internal T-2 thread, which mates with any external threaded T-2 component, or adapted directly to your telescope.
It utilizes a non-rotating pressure block, and is essentially the Zeiss-original design for this system that Zeiss used for years (only with T-threads). This system will fasten and allow rotation of almost any load with security and ease. Weight = 0.8oz.

Baader T2 Quick Changer
Pros: Cons: Comments:Heavy machined thick aluminum T2 release adapter. The stainless steel thumb screw is captive and machined in such a way as to rotate around the central post. Extraordinary, I have not encountered a thumb screw arrangement like this before, it is very robust and well made.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
This T2 Quick Changer is being used on one of the modified microscope binoviewers from Umag Croatia by Denis Levatić. Of course, my regret is not having him add T2 threads on the back of the binoviewer, instead of the Inox direct connection ring. Pros:Strong Construction,Easy to Use
Cons: Comments:This is an excellent clamp that holds a heavy accessory such as a binoviewer securely. You can loosen the clamp and rotate the binoviewer without fear that it will fall out of the clamp. While not inexpensive, the first time you use it in the dark you will be glad you spent the extra money on the heavy duty clamp.

Cons: Comments:The Baader Heavy Duty T-2 Quick Changer, T2-06A, is, in essence, a circular dovetail saddle plate. It is used with the Baader T-2 Quick Change Ring, T2-07, which is equivalent to a circular dovetail plate. With the Quick Changer screwed into a telescope focuser drawtube, and the Quick Change Ring attached to any number of different 1.25-inch accessories, like star diagonals, binoviewer and cameras, one can exchange accessories in seconds. A further advantage is that every accessory can be instantly rotated for optimal viewing comfort and/or field orientation without disturbing the telescope.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
