      Comments:

My wife recently purchased one of these to join in the fun of stargazing. She wanted something easy to manage, lightweight, affordable, yet effective for casual viewing both day and night. We found this scope after some searching and decided to give it a shot. Couldn't find too many reviews on the product but for under 100 bucks the risks were not too bad.

The scope turns out to be quite a performer. 70mm aperture is plenty with the included 10mm and 20mm Celstron lenses, which also come with good rubber/plastic cases. Very nice. The views with both were excellent, crisp as can be. We did a lot of testing during the day as well with some very cool birdwatching episodes. The images were stunning. Even got some ok digital pictures through the EP with our camera.

It also comes with an image rectifier so things don't look upside down in the EP.

The included lenses give 20X-40X mags which are perfect for this scope, both performing extremely well. I also tried a few of my own lenses in it and it held up with a 6mm. I really liked the views I got using an Orion 25mm Plossl. Crystal clear images.

This is truly a travel scope, and with that in mind it comes with a very well made backpack and a lightweight tripod. We use it at med to low level height wise and that helps with stability. The controls work well and is simple to aim. Just be mindful not to overtighten anything and you'll be fine.

The included finder scope is functional. Though I'm so spoiled with the EZ Finder II that its hard to go back to this type. But it does do its job once you do get it sighted in.

The set also comes with an instructional video and some stargazing software that I've not yet tried out. The included instruction manual is clear and helpful. They really took care of the extras dept.

To wrap it up I must say I'm truly impressed with this scope. A travel scope worth traveling with.
