The 2-group 4- element Plossl series eyepieces offer flat and clear images with good color correction. The NPL20, NPL25, NPL30 and NPL40 eyepieces feature a twist-up eye cup.

Goes well with my TV plosslsPros: Cons: Comments:
I've used the 6mm Vixen plossl for about six months now. It provides a key magnification in my TV76 and has beaten out every other eyepiece I've compared it to at 6mm (Radian, Kellner, UO Volcano Top Abbe Ortho, Meade 6.4 Plossl)
Near the edges there is some distortion (as you must expect in most plossls) but there is no false color on the Moon, no eyeball glint on planets and little glare from bright objects. Faint moons of Saturn show up without fail in direct vision when other eyepieces only show the same in averted vision.
The eye relief is tight on this eyepiece but not very different from other plossls and kellners in this focal range.
