The secondary is 2" diameter, and the outside diameter of the baffle is just under 2.5" and it's 2.25" long from the mirror's surface.

Since the holder is longer than the first version, I had to move the primary back, so no room in its cell for cooling fans.

Finally! My Tinsley Cassegrain is now on a genuine Tinsley pedestal mount:

Thanks y'all! Only 1 piece of the puzzle left: genuine Tinsley mirrors. The set I'm using is from the late 60s / early 70s -- the maker is unknown. But odds are, the mirrors were from a US gov't test rig.

I'm gonna have JD powder-coat the OTA & pedestal pipe a matching dark gray. I'll polish the brass and other mount hardware this Fall.

    Just knock-down gorgeous!

What a fantastic find. I really must look into a map of yard-sales here. Vermont is well-known for treasures popping-up around here. I'll program my mind to start reading hand-bills taped-up on phone-poles and checking the local papers. I think they have such listings somewhere.....

Thank you for posting such a beauty! I am truly inspired.

A little late to the party, but I had to say W O O O W ! You did an exquisite job on that scope and mount. I'm sure the views are equally impressive from the looks of the optics after refinishing.

Thanks to All Y'all. Can't even describe what it's like to use antique scopes (I also have a Mogey 3" refractor). They're not for everyone, but my Mother used to drag us kids to antique auctions & estate sales, and I caught The Bug early.
