Hello, here is my observation from last night, Jupiter with a well cooled telescope. Even if the planet was shy on details it was an interesting observation despite everything, especially because of the details in the north equatorial band.

If you want to compare with your own observations and share the differences.

NOTE: this is a much larger sketch then what I do usually, the disc is about 2" of diameter on the sheet, it's a much better size to record small details.

    WELL DONE! :)

You observed quite a lot of detail. What you recorded matches my observation/image very closely. Jupiter seems devoid of any blue this apparition, as we all have noted.

@Ed D cool thanks for the validation, the planet is pretty high in the sky this year but disappointing compared to other years. I really wonder if the blue clouds dissipated , I have had better results in the past years.

Good to know that it's not really better in Florida, gives me an idea that my telescopes are not the problem and it's generalized.

However once this year, during the summer, with 12" revealed 4 white ovals at once which was a broken record.

@Mak the Night thanks! It's not much in life but Ok!

Sometimes I wonder if there could maybe be dust in space directly hiding all the details and transforming the planet into a glowing blurry orb.

Every couple of days it shifts and misses the entire country. It can miss it for days at a time. That's when the seeing improves. If there aren't clouds lol.
