    I found this video of the eclipse on YT by Thierry Legault from Spain. It's best viewed at .25x to see the subtle dimming of Betelgeuse:



    I notice the dimming around the 5-second mark, peaking at about 10 seconds, and recovering by the 14-second mark.

    Thank you for posting the video, Reggie. I believe that from Miami it would have been a total eclipse, not just dimming. Too bad Mother Nature didn't cooperate.

    You're welcome, Ed. I had really hoped you could have seen it, but, alas... Are you planning on making the trek to see the total solar eclipse on April 8?
