    I think my new favorite with the new scope is M27 in Cygnus. Not only is the Dumbell a great view in summer, but it is in a spectacular starfield as well. Last night at a local astronomy club Gathering M27 was nicely up high and provided a nice view. When done, it is rewarding to sweep the general area before moving on as things are pretty rich in this area of the sky.
