Nearly overhead at the time of imaging, Mars put on a brilliant show and revealed more clarity of detail. You can tell it's receding and showing phase, but it's still very photogenic:

    Clear skies!

I like the contrast and detail.

Here tonight supposed to be the first night in 3 weeks with a favorable forecast of clear sky.. during my 2 weeks vacations, I did zero observation!!!

ZERO!!! first time in 7 years that it happens during a vacation...

@Orion25 my observation event did not take place it went like this belle with an epic meteorological forecast failure.

Yesterday during the day this was the forecast:
Morning: Clear sky predicted at 17:00
At lunch: Clear sky predicted at 19:00
Evening: Clear sky predicted at 22:00

It turned out we had ZERO clear sky during the night only a very thick, complete blanket of clouds at 00:00 and the next morning it was the same sad situation, a real forecast disaster. It was supposed to be 100% clear.

In the newspaper this morning, I picked up an event, the C/2022 E3 (STF) Comet that will be visible around the Corona Borealis constellation in the morning with a magnitude of 7.5

--> I really don't want to miss it, I have it set up for tracking on the Stellarium.
