Manufacturer Description
Protect your expensive filters and accessories from dust and moisture with our protective plastic filter cases. You can stop fumbling in the dark for the loose lid to your filter and accessory cases. Or replace the old beat up one, and store the original filter case in a safe spot and use this case.
These cases are made of durable translucent polypropylene plastic (PP) and are sturdy, oil, and moisture resistant. They feature a hinged lid for a secure press closure. A tab on one corner of the lid makes opening the case easy, and their flat, square design makes stacking a breeze.
This case is ideal for 1.25" filters. Each case comes with a 4mm thick piece of foam for added protection of your filter. The inside of this case measures 35mm (1.38") square by 12mm (0.47") deep. Sold individually. Made in USA or Germany.
Please note: The foam included with these cases gradually changes color from white to pale yellow when exposed to light. Hence, the foam you get might be yellow or white or any combination of shades in between. However, this is purely cosmetic.

Agena Plastic Filter Storage Case (s)
Pros: Cons: Comments:Excellent choice for mounted filters.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
I have dozens of colored filters, both broadband and narrow band, as well as neutral density filters, and polarizing filters. The Agena Plastic Filter Storage Case works well for all and in all sizes. This review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
May 30, 2019Agena Plastic Filter Box
Pros: Cons: Comments:I got this for the GSO 0.5x focal reducer I ordered at the same time. With the foam insert it was a nicely snug fit. It's well made and should last for quite a while.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
If you order one of these or other boxes Agena carries, be sure to check the specs on both the box and the filter/attachment you are buying it for. This will ensure a proper fit the first time around. This review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
May 4, 2019Good protection for filters, etc.
Pros: Cons: Comments:Keeps filters and small lenses clean and damage free. Foam inserts minimize jostling and motion. Not quite air tight, so I'll put a bunch of these together in a baggie or similar with a silica packet. The large size is good for OCS lenses, adapters, etc.

Apr 15, 2019Gets the Job Done
Pros: Cons: Comments:Almost perfect. The only reason I gave this item four stars and not five is that I wish the foam was a little more robust. In the end it gets the job. I think it is a good product.

Aug 1, 2018Simple and perfect
Pros: Cons: Comments:I bought these to help organize my 1.25" EP Filters and they work perfect. With the small piece of foam included in each box, the filters were held secure. Exactly what I was looking for.

May 8, 2018Excellent 2” Filter Cases
Pros: Cons: Comments:Perfect cases for my 2” filters. Durable, easy to open/close and protects my filters well. Now all of my 2” filters are in uniform sized cases in a single location in my Pelican iM2500 case along with my eyepieces, diagonal and adapters.

Mar 1, 2018Good storage
Pros: Cons: Comments:I bought these two 2" filter cases for my collection of band pass filters. They fit into a case with my two ZWO cameras and my Neximage 5 camera. Using a 2" filter case with a 1.25" filter gives lots of room and makes it easier to pull out a 2" case than a 1.25" case because of the larger size.

Feb 13, 2018The cases are great, foam insert too thin
Pros: Cons: Comments:I ordered two of these to hold a pair of 1.25 filters from my grab and go eyepiece set (an OIII and a DGM NPB filter). The cases are great - very similar to what my 2" Lumicon filters came in, but the foam inserts are too thin to hold the filters snug against the lids, so they slide to the side of the case when put upright. If rattling the filters is a concern additional padding may be needed. Would be nice if a second half-thickness insert was included with these.

Nov 11, 2017Perfect for my 1.25" filters
Pros: Cons: Comments:All of my filters are 1.25" but many came in 2" cases which means they take up a lot of room in my eyepiece/filter kit. So I wanted to shift them to something smaller. These cases were perfect. Now I can keep more filters in my case in the same amount of space.

Jun 25, 20171.25" FILTER CASE
Pros: Cons: Comments:These filter cases hold 1.25" eyepiece filters perfectly. Snap closed and lift tab in corner to open. Hinge seems to be very good, should outlast longer than your lifetime. I've opened and closed one hundreds of times and no sign of wear. Great quality workmanship! That's what you get when something is made in the U.S.A.. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Sep 30, 2016Very nice, very useful.
Pros:Easy to Use,Accurate,Strong Construction

Apr 25, 2016Nice filter cases.
Pros:Easy to Use,Lightweight,Compact
Cons: Comments:These are nice filter cases. I prefer them to the two piece filter cases that have the detached top and bottom, because these stay closed and you don't have to worry about losing the top of the case in the dark. Recommended.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? YesThis review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
Feb 4, 2016Perfect little case
Pros:Lightweight,Easy to Use,Compact
Cons: Comments:I purchased this item because the other items I had in my cart didn't fulfill the "minimum amount" to purchase online, so I needed something else to buy that was cheap, but useful. This case is perfect for 1.25" eyepiece filters! I like how it snaps shut, and stays closed.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? YesThis review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
Feb 24, 2015Great Cases For Your Filters

Mar 28, 2014Excellent Filter Storage
Pros:Strong Construction,Durable,Lightweight
Cons:None
Comments:I bought several of these filter cases to replace the typical clear filter cases I've been using for years. Unlike the standard cases made from two pieces of styrene plastic that either fit together or are hinged, these will not break. Styrene cases either crack over time or the hinges break. These are made from a single piece of molded polypropylene, can take a beating without breaking and should last a very long time. They're also sturdy enough to protect whatever you place inside them. They're not as transparent as conventional filter cases but are translucent enough to identify the filter inside. They can also be written on with with pen or pencil.

Jan 29, 2014Would buy this product again and again
Pros:Compact,Easy to Use,Lightweight
Cons: Comments:Great for many uses such as small screws, filters, e-rings, fuses, anything small you want to keep together in a compact case in a tool bag or box etc.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? YesThis review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
Sep 24, 2012Simple Convenient Storage Case
Pros:Lightweight,Easy to Use,Compact
Cons: Comments:I needed cases that wouldn't pop open and these fit the bill. I wish they were a bit easier to open and had more of a tab to pop them open with. Other than that they are strong, inexpensive and keep my filters protected.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? YesThis review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
