Combines a refillable ball point pen with a red LED light to illuminate your writing in the dark while preserving your dark adaptation while observing. Push the button on top to turn on the light, and twist the barrel to use the pen (no cap to lose in the dark). You can also twist off the cap and use it as a red flashlight! Elegant silver trim (lower half is transparent but appears red in the photo since the red LED is on). Comes in an elegant plastic case. Makes a great gift too.
Batteries and one extra pen refill included. Size 4-1/2" x 5/8".

Glow Pen
Pros: Cons: Comments:It is difficult to hold a flashlight and write. Also hate keeping a table lamp on while observing, is very bright, annoying to others even kept on for a little while and ruins your night vision. This resolves that issue perfectly.

Pros:Compact,Accurate
Cons:Lite a little too brite
Comments:I use this pen when filling out my astronomy observation forms. Have to have a red light to save my night vision and this pen is great. The light should be just a little bit dimmer. I put some paper over the bulb to dim it down. Can't find this pen anywhere else. Would higly recommend.
