Manufacturer Description
Rings will fit tubes with an outer diameter of 2.90" - 2.95" (Approx. 74 - 75mm).
These tube rings are high quality, cast-aluminum mounting rings that can be used for mounting telescope tubes on various mounts or on guidescope rails. All rings are hinged, felt-lined and have clamp-style rings for easy mounting or repositioning of the optical tube. Most rings have clamping knobs while a couple of size have clamping clips instead. Please see the photo for this product to determine whether it has a clamping knob or clip.
The base of the rings has a metric 6mm mounting thread. Gunmetal dark gray finish. If the outer diameter (OD) of the telescope is a little smaller than the inner diameter (ID) of the rings, you can shim the inside of rings with extra felt (not included).

Mar 22, 2018A Perfect Fit for that Classic 76mm Refractor
Pros: Cons: Comments:During many an observing session, I typically like to use a variety of telescopic instruments depending on what's up in the night sky. Generally it would be one of my newer scopes along with my classic 76/1200mm Sears 6344 refractor. This meant that I would lug out two EQ mounts to use the scopes.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
So, I purchased a set of these 2.9" (76mm) rings to allow me to attach a Vixen dovetail bar to the classic instrument, thereby eliminating the need for two EQ mounts. It is just a matter of interchanging the telescopes on the newer EQ mount's head. Makes for a more productive and satisfying observing session! This review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
Aug 1, 2017Nice rings, easily adapded to fit my tube.
Pros: Cons: Comments:My scope tube is quite a bit smaller than these scope rings. These were the closest match I could find. The rings were well made and by adding a bit of self-adhesive craft foam and felted tape on top of that, fit my scope perfectly. Works great, very pleased. Prompt shipping too!

May 17, 2017Works perfectly
Pros: Cons: Comments:I bought these to convert my dad's Meade Infinity 70 to an equatorial mount. I was pleased with how well constructed they were. Very solid. The camera mount screw/bolt itself was threaded into the ring so tightly I couldn't remove it by hand, but that's not a big deal. the interior was felt lined to prevent scuffs, but it was slightly too large a diameter to fit the older Meade 70az tube I test fit it on so I had to replace it with some thicker felt. After that it fit fine. I'm very pleased with it, and you can't beat the price.

May 13, 2016Good pair of Telescope tube ring
Pros:Accurate,Compact,Strong Construction,Lightweight
Cons: Comments:It's a good pair of telescope tube ring. I use it to attach Celestron 70 travel scope as Guiderscope with QHY Autoguider.

Mar 27, 2015Simple and effective
Pros:Strong Construction,Easy to Use,Lightweight
Cons: Comments:The rings work perfectly on a 66 mm telescope aperture. They are easy to adjust and prevent the telescope to move undesirably. Have holes to suit a dovetail on both ends. The interior is lined with black felt to not damage the telescope and closing is by a well-built metal clamps. For the price are good rings for telescope.
