Rings will fit tubes with an outer diameter of 3.47" - 3.54" (Approx. 88 - 90mm).
These tube rings are high quality, cast-aluminum mounting rings that can be used for mounting telescope tubes on various mounts or on guidescope rails. All rings are hinged, felt-lined and have clamp-style rings for easy mounting or repositioning of the optical tube. Most rings have clamping knobs while a couple of size have clamping clips instead. Please see the photo for this product to determine whether it has a clamping knob or clip.
The base of the rings has a metric 6mm mounting thread. Gunmetal dark gray finish. If the outer diameter (OD) of the telescope is a little smaller than the inner diameter (ID) of the rings, you can shim the inside of rings with extra felt (not included). Price shown is for a set of 2 rings.

YesPros: Cons: Comments:
Fits and holds on to the Nexstar 80gt OTA just fine. Works fine with '' Agena V Series Vixen-Style Dovetail Bar - 180mm (7.1") Long # DR03! ''. Easy to mount the tube and to remove.

3.5” cradle ringsPros: Cons: Comments:
I bought these rings to secure an Orion ST80 scope. These rings and the bolts that secure them are sturdy. When you are evaluating dovetails be sure that the hole size and spacing between holes will accommodate the size of the bolts and where the rings need to be located to support your scope.

Great rings!Pros: Cons: Comments:
I've bought two sets of these over time to accommodate two older Celestron C80 telescopes. They fit perfectly, allowing me to use these scopes with a variety of mounts. Coupled with an 8" dovetail bar, they are perfect for my use.

Nice tube rings.Pros: Cons: Comments:
Purchased these rings to mount my 80mm refractor. Rings are sturdy and secure my scope firmly. Only con I can find is the bolts supplied for mounting were too short. Had to purchase a pair of bolts at local hardware store for $1.25. Not a big deal but an unnecessary hassle.

works for mePros: Cons: Comments:
there were no big issue(s) with the rings....except the mounting screws are to long and the head was thick for my Farpoint vixen clamps, nothing that trip to Home Depot could not fix...The Omegon 80mm St fit like a glove, shipping was very fast.....

Good alternative to clamshellsPros:
Bought to replace the clamshell on my C80ED. I gave 3 stars because of the clamping hardware; the hand knobs and threaded sections are a lower quality than what you get with the typical Synta rings included with many telescopes. Pluses = lightweight, perfect fit and nice to have piggyback mount for AP.

Strong Construction,Easy to Use,LightweightCons: Comments:
I use these rings to attach a 90mm refractor to a dovetail plate. The fit is perfect. I can use the telescope-plate combination on 4 different mounts that take a Vixen plate. The rings also have point to attach accessories. Very useful. I have a finder on mine.

I saved about a hundred dollars buyingPros:
Accurate,Strong Construction,Easy to UseCons:
I saved about a hundred dollars buying those instead of the ones made especially for my Megrez. They fit perfectly and I have nothing bad to say. Not the last thing I will buy from Agena.

These rings were used to mount a 3" F12.6 refractor to a commercial tripod and drive. They were easy to install and worked fine.
