This diagonal includes a removable 2" eyepiece holder with compression ring and two large thumbscrews, as well as a removeable 2" nosepiece that is threaded to accept standard 2" astronomy filters. The diagonal body has standard female SCT threads (2" x 24TPI) on both sides. On the telescope side, the body connects directly to the included 2" nosepiece (Baader item # T2-19 2408155 (silver)). On the eyepiece side, an SCT male-male thread adapter (inverter) sits between the diagonal body and the included 2" SCT visual back / eyepiece holder (Baader # T2-17 2408140).

To use with an SCT telescope, you can:
(i) Replace the included 2" nosepiece with a suitable SCT female to male thread adapter (not included). This is the most convenient option.
(ii) Or you can remove the included 2" nosepiece and attach the diagonal body directly to the OTA's 2" male SCT thread (Baader's SCT Lock Ring # LRING 2458270 will be required to achieve the correct diagonal orientation). This configuration provides the shortest physical length if fork clearance is an issue.

The 2" eyepiece holder can be replaced with Baader's excellent click-lock eyepiece holder (not included) as well.
