Manufacturer Description
This eyepiece adapter allows 0.965" eyepieces and accessories to be used in 1.25" focusers, diagonals and barlows. The adapter is made of aluminum and anodized black. Features a safety recess groove on the outside of the barrel, and an internal brass compression ring to protect your eyepieces. Threaded to accept 1.25" filters.

Cons: Comments:Nicely made product that does exactly what it's intended to do. Nice feature is the compression ring which means no scarring the lower barrel on your .965" eyepiece. The only improvement would be elimination of the "Safety" Undercut which is of marginal value in any eyepiece or adapter and only causes catches in the diagonal.

Cons: Comments:Recently put together a set of four Zeiss .965" orthos and chose to spring to get adapter for all these permanently attached. They all do the job very nicely and help protect the EPs from getting any marks slipping in and out of adapters. I replaced the thumbscrews with small allen-head set screws to make it more trim and because they are staying on for good. Great product and great price!

Cons: Comments:Having an old telescope with the very small focuser tube I have a number of the small eyepieces. Buying a new telescope with the larger focuser tube I thought I would have to buy a new set of eyepieces (EXPENSIVE ) but when I found your site and saw your eyepiece adaptor, I thought GREAT! Comments:Great adapter to use with a 0.965 eyepiece and priced right. I use it with my 2.8 Takahashi MC. Nice solid construction and light weight.

Cons: Comments:I used this adapter with a classic 0.965 ortho eyepiece on a small travel scope. It's a much lighter combination than using a 1.25 eyepiece, making it perfect for travel and backcountry adventure. It works so well that I'm actually thinking of getting more 0.965 orthos!
